Yoga Poses For Weight Loss


Santulanasan


To do this asana, first of all lie down on your stomach.
Now place your palms next to your shoulders and raise your entire body on your hands.
Hold your toes on the floor and keep your knees straight.
Make sure your knees, pelvis and spine are straight.
Your wrist should be just below your shoulders.
Stay in this posture for a while and then come back to the previous position.

Vashisthasana


To do this asana, first start with Santolanasana (Planck).
Now, with your left palm firmly on the ground, remove your right hand from the floor.
Keep your entire body straight to the right and lift your right foot off the floor and keep it on top of your left foot.
Keep your right hand either at the waist or raise it up.
Make sure that both your knees, heel and feet are sticking together and straight.
After this turn your head and look towards your right hand.
Stay in this posture for a while and then slowly come back to normal position in Santolansan.
After this repeat the same process on the left.

Padahastasan


For this, you first stand up.
Now you exhale and gently tilt your body downwards and touch your nose to your knees.
Place your palms on either side of the feet.
If your hands do not reach the feet, you may bend your knees slightly.
Slowly while practicing you straighten your knees and try to touch your chest to your thighs. Stay in this position for some time and then come back to normal.

Dhanurasan


To do this asana, you have to start by lying on your stomach.
Then you raise your knees up and hold your ankles with your palms.
Raise your legs as high as possible.
Stay in this posture for a while and then return to the previous position.

Chakrasana


For this posture, lie on your back.
After this, bend your knees and make sure that your feet are firmly fixed on the floor.
Now keep both your palms on the floor as well.
Now take a breath, put pressure on your palms and feet and lift your whole body up to form an arch.
Relax your neck and gently tilt your head back.
These are some yogasanas that will help you to fit yourself for the summer.
